  1. I remember being in Hohenfels many times during the 80s and 90s when I was stationed at Bad Kreuznack with the 8ID, 8th Signal Battalion. It always amused me when they would be running smow moving equipment in July amd August to keep the mud down to a minimum. A nice Gastehaus off post made the best Cordon Blue in Germany.
