German-French Brigade Hold Military Exercises

German armed forces Bundeswehr soldiers with the 291st infantry battalion and French soldiers from the 110th infantry regiment during the German-French armed forces exercise “Feldberg 2013” (hillfield 2013) at the military training area Oberlausitz on March 19, 2013 in Weisswasser, Germany. From March 6th to March 22nd, 2013, 2100 soldiers of the Franco-German brigade are conducting exercises aimed at reinforcing the relationship between French and German units and to show the operational capabilities of the dual nationality unit.
