B Squadron Royal Yeomanry Training in Hampshire

British soldiers from B Squadron Royal Yeomanry (B Sqn RY) are pictured in Hampshire at the Bramley Training Area.

The exercise consisted of reaction to fire and casualty drills.

The troop were equipped with RWMIK (Revised Weapons Mounted Installation Kit) vehicles to provide light recon through a wide range of combat arenas.

The vehicles are highly mobile with lightly armoured weapons platforms including Heavy and General Purpose Machine Guns.

The soldiers train to crew and fight in these vehicles. Each RWIMK requires a driver, gunner and commander. In addition to this the Squadron also employs Combat Medics, HR Specialists and Chefs to support the team.
